As a 20+ year devotee of fine cigars. My passion for creating led me to crafting custom accessories for the cigar enthusiast. Turning custom cigar accessories for brothers and sisters of the leaf, spanning 26 countries. Holding partnerships with Perfec Cigar Solutions (The creator of the PerfecDraw), and with Sotelo Official Cigar Cases. I endeavor to bring you useful art to enhance your cigar smoking experience.
Process
To begin we must ask what item or items were of interest? A standard "Set" consists of a PerfecDraw, Cigar NubTool, and a Rest (offered in 4 size options).
From there please view the Material Choices page. If you see a material type of interest please include its name in your contact. If you are interested in a species of wood not listed, please ask. I'd be happy to search for it. If including a Cigar Rest, please decide which of 4 sizes available. Descriptions found in Key Information section of Price Guide.
All items are turned by hand on a wood lathe with hand chisels. Turnaround times are quoted based on current number of orders in line. With progress photos provided to you each step of the way.
History
It started with a desire to create a Cigar NubTool that would function as well as be pleasing to the eye. After numerous lip and facial hair burns using a single probe to nub a cigar. I knew a proper dual probe item needed to be crafted. And most importantly, something custom crafted for the individual. Not a stamped out mass produced item with no character. Rather something that conveys your sense of style and personality.
What started off as gifts for a small group of friends has morphed and grown into what there is today. With over 1000 NubTools in use, and closing in on 500 PerfecDraw's, my creations can be found around the globe. With an ever expanding lineup including Rests, Punches, Fine Writing Instruments, and more.
Smoking a cigar should be a pleasurable, relaxing experience. What better way to bring it to a close than on a NubTool hand turned for you.
